The barbecue 1/2 chicken is the best. Served with a generous portion of hot and crisp fries, rice, and a salad. Our table got a 1/2 carafe of wine each (choice of red or white, of course) . Add in the bread, olives, and cheese to start, and top it off with dessert (usually 5 or more top choices), and we escaped under 22 euros, including tip. A good deal and a nice place to sit outside when weather permits.

It’s a local restaurant with great foods and hospitality. I visited the restaurant every day when I stayed in Cascais. Most patrons were local people, but the restaurant had English menu and were very friendly to travelers. It’s totally worth it to walk from the touristy areas along the beach to this neighborhood restaurant to enjoy the meals and vibes.

We were in Estoril for 3 days and we had 3 meals here. The food is that good and the servers are incredible. It is filled with locals (which is always a great sign). When in Portugal this is a can’t miss for us!

Brilliant Portuguese restaurant. When we visited at lunchtime it was full of road workers all tucking into their Prato do Dia. I had the Portuguese sausage which was a bit odd in texture. Probably won't go for that again. Super friendly, super cheap and a true authentic experience. Definetly will be revisiting.

Very pleasant place to eat a very good tasty meal for 2 with 1l house wine for less than 40 euro. Will go back again when in the area.

Fabulous food (octopus must try - so fresh and soft) and service!

A busy restaurant with a lot of locals. It doesn't look impressive, but the staff is quick and friendly. The food is amazing and large portions for a friendly price.

Absolutely fantastic! Our favorite neighborhood spot. Prices are extremely reasonable, including excellent bottles of wine for 8 Euros. The tuna salad is huge and we sometimes get to split among 3 or 4 for an appetizer. All the grilled meat dishes are fabulous. The pork secretos are THE BEST we've had. So many choices - fish, octopus, meats, tostas, sandes, and even burgers and pastas (we saw a huge platter of spaghetti bolognese) for something different. The fries are crisp on the outside, fluffy inside and the rice is addictive. Service is always super fun, friendly and very attentive. Portions are ample. You can enjoy a delicious meal in a fun spot with great service for a really good price. Just know it's a popular local spot so you may want to make a reservation or be willing to wait. Highest recommendation.
